Hurry up Saturday!!

Well as most of you know I am getting married and the day has almost come! I am marring my high school sweetheart Houston Woolf. I am so excited. I LOVE him so much words can not even explain. I can't wait for Saturday to hurry up and get here. Houston has always been the love of my life. He is a great father and I know he will be a great husband. He never lets me go without anything. If I want something I get it. He spoils me, which I can't complain about. He is not the most romantic guy, but he tries. He can always make me laugh. Even when I am mad at him he puts a big smile on my face.He works hard for Sydney and I so that I can stay home and raise her. I am so glad that I have him in my life and he is going to be MINE, haha that sounds funny but I think every wife thinks there husband is theirs. AM I RIGHT??? Well Saturday will start a new chapter of my life and I just can't wait. I am so excited to be all dressed up and be a Princess for a day.

I have been so stressed out about the whole wedding and am glad that I won't have to worry about it anymore. I am praying that everything goes smoothly and looks good. I am so happy that my mom has been here to help me with everything. I have the best mom in the world. Lets just hope that my family all shows up since we haven't all been together in like 4 years i think.

I think I am most excited to get the wedding here so that we can go on our honeymoon. My future In-Laws are giving us a trip to Mexico and they are going to take Sydney for the week. I am so excited to go because I have never been to a beach. Even thought i don't look good in a swimming suit I can still enjoy the sun. We aren't going until June 6th but still it won't take long to past time.

I can't think of a title!

Well Sydney has a couple of good things happen to her this past week. She got her first tooth on Sunday, it was the bottom right one. I noticed while we where are Stake Conference... Ya that's right Houston and I finally went to church on our own and in our own ward. Then on Monday the second tooth popped up, which was the bottom left. Of course she wont let me even try to get a picture of them. So you guys will just have to imagine her with 2 cute little teeth.

Sydney has now figured out how to open the cupboard doors. So I made Houston put locks on them so she cant get to my cookies. haha. She would go for them every time. She thought she was pretty smart because after we put the locks on she would go and try and open the doors and try and hurry before the doors would close to sneak her little hand inside, but the door was just to quick for her.

Also this might sounds gross but its more for my own record. Sydney always poops first thing in the morning and it always leaks out of her diapers no matter what kind I try. So for once I woke up before she did and I went to wake her up. She hadn't pooped yet so I thought I would wait to change her diaper. Well she started to push so I had a bright idea and put her on the toilet. haha. well last Monday, I think it was Monday or maybe Tuesday, Sydney pooped on the toilet for the first time. Now how many almost 9 months old do you guys know poop on the toilet..haha. I think she is going to be an easy potty trainer or at least I hope.

Oh and by the way She is going to be 9 months old tomorrow. I love my little girl!

ITS ABOUT TIME!

Okay so it has been awhile since I have posted last. I have been really busy with the wedding planning so I haven't really had much time on my hands to think. haha.

So we got are engagement pictures done a couple of weeks ago. We decided to get some family pictures done too. Its kind of hard to get Houston to take some pictures so we might as well do them all at the same time. Sydney did pretty good and so dang cute. Me on the other hand, I just can't take pictures. We were out in the sun and my eyes would just water and not stop. I HATE it. I think it might be because I NEVER wear make-up so it irritates my eyes or at least that is what I'm going to blame it on. In the end we got some pretty good picture of all of us.

Sydney hasn't really done anything new in the past couple of months. She is a really good crawler now. She is so fast and just follows me around the house. She is starting to walk across the furniture. I have one of those yoga balls and she likes to stand up to it and balance but you have to make sure that you are just behind her watching her the whole time or she is fall flat on her face.

Today she started to clap her hands on her own. I have been doing patty cake with her for a couple of weeks and the last couple of days if you sing the song to her she would hit her hands together. But today she started to make the clapping noise. I thinks its so cute. She will be playing with her toys and then stop and clap her hands.

Oh and she has said her first word or at least that is what I am telling myself. haha. She said "mama" and I love it. So every time she says it I say what so that she will catch on that she is calling me. Or at least I think that might help.

Sydney also really likes animals. She loved my moms dog at first but then a little puppy came up to her and started to jump all over and kiss her so now she is kind of scared of dogs. We were out at the farm in Wrentham the other day to visit my brother and we went and say the chicken and baby lambs. She loved them. She likes to just sit in the wagon and look at the chickens. the lambs were so cute and tiny. I didn't have my camera out there or I would have taken some picture.

Houston and I went to Toronto March 26-29 to see our friends Kate and Kyle Harker. The SUPERCROSS just happened to be going to Toronto that weekend too. We had so much fun. I was able to see my ideal CHAD REED. haha Most of you don't know who he is but I have been following his motocross career since I started to race myself, which I can't even remember how long that is. We went to the Welland Ship Canal, Niagara Falls, and the CN Tower. We went to comedy club one night which was fun. I am not a real fan of comedy but I have to say that it is way better in person the it is to watch on TV. The race was at the Rogers Center where the Blue Jays play. It was just a really good time. I am glad that we went then because Kate and Kyle moved back two weeks after we were there. YEAH I am excited for them to be home.

Well Sydney sure is growing fast but really that is no surprise cuz all babies grow up way to fast. I think that they should stop doing that so we can enjoy them being little longer. She is 7 months old now and She has been changing so much over the past month.
On January 30, 6 months to the day, she started to pull herself forward a little. Then on February 27 she started to actually crawl. Yeah for her. She just goes form room to room. Today she was playing with the patio door. That amused her for a long time.
The things that amuse babies are the simplest things around. I think that I might just stop buying toys and give her a piece of paper and a cardboard box and she would be entertained for hours.
She has been sitting up on her own for the past couple of months but not she has mastered how to sit herself up.
She is also pulling herself up onto everything. She really likes the TV stand, which I am not a fan of her playing with because its glass and I am afraid of her hitting her head on it. So I decided to just put a blanket over it to keep her away for it. Hopefully that will work.
Lately she has been having trouble sleeping and having naps. During the day she will only have 1 or maybe 2 naps but they never go past a hour, and if we make it that long I am lucky. The only way I can make her sleep is if I wrap her up like a Mummy. I use to do that all the time when she wasn't so wiggly but now I have to do it again. We went for like 2 months without doing it and we could put her to bed awake and wouldn't her a peep from her all night. Thank heaven for who even thought to swaddle babies because its a life saver for me.I think maybe it her teeth that have been bugging her..... at least that is what i am going to blame it on.
I took her to the doctor for a check up because she had not been to one since she was 3 months old. She weighs 18 pounds... She is pretty chunky well actually only in the legs.
She also loves to play in the mirror. She gets so excited to see herself. She just shakes. It too cute.
